WithreachWhat we’re doing

Our vision is to coordinate every available resource to make sure that every person, starting with those in Lapeer County, has their needs met. This means a roof over their head, food to eat, basic medical needs met, and hope for the future. Together, we will make a difference!

If you would like to support MapleGrove in our service to our community, you can make a donation here.

... roof over their head

We support The Refuge, providing emergency shelter for adult men and women on a temporary basis during winter months.  We are currently working to provide a permanent location for a homeless shelter in Lapeer County.  In addition, we continue to help families that the Refuge can not assist, like families with children. Contact us for more information.

… food to eat

There are currently five soup kitchens in Lapeer County serving hot meals five days a week.  We encourage you to volunteer and donate your finances to these.

We envision helping to add two additional days so that every day there is a place for the hungry to get a hot meal.

We also accept donations, food items, and other dry goods for several area food pantries.

A complete list of soup kitchens and their schedules are here. Food pantries here.

… basic medical needs met

Loving Hands Clinic, located here at MapleGrove Church, is a free health clinic for the uninsured and underinsured of our Lapeer County that has served over 700 patients in the last year. The need continues to grow. In addition to providing building space and utilities we envision expanding the clinic as needed by adding more days, doctors, space, and resources.  Our biggest need here is for the finances for the facility. For more information about supporting the clinic, please contact our office. To make an appointment at the clinic, please call the clinic directly @ 810.667.8933.

… hope for the future

Pregnancy Resource Center of Lapeer helps women, men and children affected by an unplanned pregnancy.  We are devoted to providing finances, spiritual, emotional, physical, and educational support to these families. Learn how you can help.

Prisoner Ministries - We regularly work with the county jail and area prisons meeting the needs of the incarcerated that want to hear the message of Christ. If you are interested in serving in this area, please contact Pastor Gary.

Other Visitations – we need volunteers to visit hospitals, and our shut-ins in Lapeer County. Please contact Pastor Gary.
