a personal story ...

The greatest moment in my life and the one that has made the greatest impact, was the moment I met my wife. I had just graduated from Bible College and I was finishing my internship at my home church here in Michigan. As we were planning for one of the largest outdoor theatrical gospel presentations I’d ever been part of, in strolls this beautiful young lady just returning from her own mission field.

Due to the fact that she was committed to courtship and not just dating, it took several discussions with her father to just begin seeing her but it proved to be the best decision of my life. The next couple of months were extraordinary. We took our friends and family by storm with the announcement of our engagement but it was the greatest time of our lives and in September of 1997 we were married.

She says I swept her off her feet but the truth is God knew we were destined to be together and share a lifetime of ministry.
