We Believe ...

... the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine.

... in one God eternally existent in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world.

... Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood to redeem us from our sins and the curse of the law.  We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross.  We believe Jesus rose from the dead and will be coming to earth again soon.

... water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. [watch our last baptism here]

... in the regular taking of communion as an act of remembering what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross. (see Luke 22:19, 1 Corinthians 11:24-25)

... every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ.

... love is the greatest commandment and that loving God and others fulfills the whole law.  The world will only know we are Christians by our love.  (see 1 Corinthians 13)

... that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is our abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide.  We believe in all the Biblical gifts of the Holy Spirit. (see 1 Corinthians 12-14)

... as children of God, we are overcomers and more than conquerors, and God intends for each of us to experience a more abundant life as we become doers of His Word.

About Doctrine

We are united by our Statement of Faith being the foundation of our Biblical doctrine. Outside of the Statement of Faith we encourage people to study the Word of God and work out their own salvation and convictions, with the understanding that believers will interpret and have different beliefs.

If questions arise that are not covered in the Statement of Faith we encourage discussion, study of the Word of God, and prayer for God's direction for your personal life with respect for others. It is never appropriate to tear down other people, organizations, or religions. We set aside our differences in order to serve people. (See: Phil 2:12-16, Rom. 14)
